Sometimes short trips or "microadventures" are just what we need. Not too short or long, they allow us to get away and feel rejuvenated without a long drive or commitment. Pack a few of these in each month can give you the "outdoor feels" and experience needed to boost your confidence with whatever your doing.In this case it was friday afternoon trip up to a local mountain lake, to get some "fly time" in, before the sun dipped below the hills.
